A Topshop love affair + continuation of yday's post

I've had a love affair with topshop eversince this UK brand hit manila shores. I remember back in highschool when topshop still only had one branch all the way in Robinson's Place Ermita... i'd brave the hour-and-a-half traffic just to get a topshop fix. (If i remember it correctly they also had some ms. selfridges items back then, i wonder why they've become extinct.. tsk tsk). Gone are those days however, since this store now has eight branches locally (some within a kilometer of each other) while Topman, it's "brother" store (hehe), has since opened five. This brit high street invasion has also given birth to uk brands dorothy perkins and just yesterday, warehouse. Now all we need is H&M and i can be in london fashion heaven right here in manila! weeeeeeeeee!!! hahaha!

Anyhow, after my short stop in warehouse, we moved over to the topshop branch in the same mall (it's right next door, see pics in my previous post). But as anticipated, they no longer had the stuff i wanted to get (i called them last monday to check haha!) So off we went to mall of asia quicker than the girl there could say "thank you for visiting topshop"!

The SM mall of asia, claimed to be the biggest mall in asia,

has a very nice and spacious topshop store.

Ang going there on a wednesday afternoon was a good idea since there weren't that many people crowding the place. (I've been there on a weekend and it was quite a ruckus i tell you!) I finally was able to get the stuff i had reserved via my favorite sales assistants sharon and elise. Oh yeah, while trying on stuff there, i took a pic of my outfit for the day just for you guys, hahaha!

here it is:

lacey billowy top by f21, nude cami from h&m, tweed shorts from f21, suede round toe shoes from chinese laundry, ocelot painted thick wooden bangles by baublesbangles&beads, and abbey gesso shoulder bag from gucci.

Looked around for about an hour and finally paid for my goodies: a pair of crystal-encrusted skull earrings, 2 dresses, ankle-length leggings, and some sale brooches.

After that we took a breather and i ate cotton candy while bf had a beer mug and salmon sashimi at the foodcourt.(i love cotton candy!)

then off we went to Mango to look at the belt i had wanted to get last week.

The mango branch here is quite spacious and well-lit, but somehow i just didnt like this season's collections. Well, my belt was still there but the last piece in my size had some scuffs so i decided to pass on this one. (Maybe rockwell has better stock). After this, we passed by mexx and nine west (didn't see anything special) and decided to go home.

Now you must be wondering what does my sweet bf do while i'm scouring all the racks in the stores. Well, don't worry, he looks around too (like in topman haha) but mostly what he does is this:

(he didn't realize i was taking pics of him without flash! hahaha!)

shirt from gap, shorts from giordano men, watch by fossil, sandals from traffic. all chosen by me hehe!

Yup, that's a pic of my two babies right there: waiting patiently while mommy shops! hahaha!
